Environment-Centred Design
Environment-centered design (ECD) is a holistic approach that incorporates sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility into the design process.
Whilst Human-Centred Design focuses on putting Humans at the centre of the design process, Environmental-Centred helps designers and businesses empathise with the needs of the planet.
The objective of Environment-Centred Design is to ensure that origanisations and businesses are creating solutions that minimise negative environmental impacts and contribute positively to the well-being of both people and the planet. Given the reliance humans have on digital technology, ECD is key to ensuring that solutions are as carbon-friendly as possible.
